    Turns out, #BestNic, our ancestors stumbled upon the fact that chocolate plants are edible accidentally. They were exploring the wilderness, searching for food. Along the way, they found a chocolate tree full of cocoa beans. At first, they didn't know what to do with the beans, so they tried eating them raw. Because raw chocolate tasted bitter, they tried roasting the cocoa beans, making them sweet and fragrant, which they loved. Since then, chocolate has been continuously processed and has become a favorite ingredient for humans worldwide.
